General electrode materials can be divided into the following types:

Stainless steel (0Cr18Ni12Mo2Ti).Suitable for nitric acid, sulfuric acid less than 5% at room temperature, boiling phosphoric acid, formic acid, alkali solution, sulfurous acid, sea water, acetic acid under certain pressure.

2. Hahn alloy B and Hahn alloy C.Can be used for sea water, salt water.

Titanium - suitable for seawater, all kinds of chlorides and chlorinated hydrochloric acid, oxidizing acid (including fuming nitric acid), organic acid, alkali, etc.

4. Tantalum - other chemical media except hydrofluoric acid, fuming sulfuric acid and alkali, including boiling point hydrochloric acid, nitric acid and sulfuric acid < 175℃ can be used.

5. Platinum - can be used for all kinds of acids, bases and salts, but not aqua regia.

Second, the choice of lining material

Another important material choice of electromagnetic flowmeter is how to choose the lining material accurately.It is important to note that the lining material should be selected according to the erodibility, abrasion and temperature of the measured medium.

1. Rubber - with excellent elasticity, high tearing force, good abrasion resistance, resistance to general weak acid and alkali erosion, can measure water, sewage, mud and pulp, etc.

2. Polyurethane - with excellent wear resistance, acid resistance, alkali resistance is poor, can measure the neutral strong wear of coal slurry, mud and pulp.

3. Polytetrafluoroethylene - boiling hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, aqua aqua, concentrated alkali and a variety of organic solvents, good wear-resisting function, poor bonding function.
