Vortex flowmeter is mainly used for the flow measurement of gas, liquid, steam and other dielectric fluids in industrial pipeline.Especially in the flow of gas and steam.Vortex flow meter USES the triangle-column vortex generator set in the fluid to generate regular vortexes alternately from both sides of the vortex generator, which is called karman vortex principle.
Vortex flowmeters have high requirements for installation and working conditions. The front and rear straight pipe sections must be installed in accordance with the specifications.There is no large motor interference in the near range of vortex flow meter. From installation, debugging to long-term online use, will encounter some faults and problems, according to many years of site often, will teach the majority of users how to deal with some problems.
Common faults and treatment methods of vortex flow meter:
1.No electricity the pipe fluid flow, but there's output signal processing method is commonly: check instrument grounding, grounding is adverse to introduce interference: check whether the pipe is a strong mechanical vibration: check whether there is a strong electromagnetic interference environment, such as a high-power electrical appliances or inverter, high voltage equipment: check whether the sensitivity is high, adjust two potentiometer counterclockwise until no output.
2. After power on, there is fluid flow in the pipeline, but no signal output processing method is general: check whether the wiring of the instrument is correct: check whether the installation direction of the instrument is correct;Check if the flow is below the normal flow range.
3. The display flow is inconsistent with the actual flow, and the unstable treatment method is generally as follows: it may be that the instrument parameters are set incorrectly; it may be that the measurement and construction error of the temperature and pressure instrument is too large;It may be that the flow rate is lower than or higher than the normal flow range: it may be that the installation does not meet the requirements, such as the installation of different centers, there are obstacles in the pipeline, the lack of straight pipe segment and other circumstances.
4. The flow rate of the fluid in the pipeline is stable and meets the requirements of the flow, but the output changes are too large, and the instability treatment methods are generally as follows: interference may be caused by poor grounding; interference may be caused by too strong pipeline vibration; leakage trigger may be caused by too low sensitivity, and the sensitivity can be improved.
