How to deal with bubbles in liquid of electromagnetic flowmeter?

Electromagnetic flow meter is a high precision and high reliability product which has been constantly upgraded and improved. The flowmeter has reached the high level in excitation technology, lining technology and intelligent technology.Electromagnetic flowmeter is suitable for measuring the volume flow rate of acid, alkali, salt solution, mud, pulp, waste water and other conductive media.

The fault of the electromagnetic flowmeter in operation is the fault of the instrument itself, that is, the fault caused by the damage of the instrument structure or components.Another type of fault is caused by external causes, such as improper installation, flow distortion, deposition and scaling.

There are bubbles in the liquid of electromagnetic flowmeter:

The formation of bubble bubbles in liquid can be divided into two ways: inhalation from the outside and conversion of dissolved gas (air) in the liquid into free bubbles.If there are large bubbles in the liquid, the whole electrode can be covered when passing through the electrode, making the flow signal input circuit open instantaneously, resulting in the output signal shaking.

And the easy way to tell is when you have a sloshing.Cut off the current of the excitation loop of the magnetic field. If the instrument is still displayed and unstable at this time, it is mostly due to the influence of bubbles.If the electrode resistance is measured by a pointer multimeter at this time, it can be measured that the circuit resistance of the electrode is higher than normal.For the case of air in the measured medium, if the judgment is caused by the installation position, such as the electromagnetic flowmeter installed at the high point of the piping system to store gas or external inhalation of air resulting in the flow meter shaking, changing the installation position is a quick solution.Install at the low point of the line or in a U-bend.However, many applications are larger diameters or installation position is not easy to change.

It is recommended to install an air bag and an exhaust valve upstream of the flow, and a solenoid flowmeter. The displayed wobble due to bubbles can be up to 20%~50%. After installing the exhaust device, the measurement will return to normal.
