The Thermal gas mass flow meter can be measured directly without temperature and pressure compensation. The mass flow rate or volume flow rate of gas can be measured conveniently and accurately. The sensor is composed of two reference platinum resistance temperature sensors, one of which measures the fluid temperature and the other passes through the bridge loop· as a heating element, the sensor maintains a constant temperature difference higher than the fluid temperature, that is, when the gas flows through the heating element, the heat will be taken away. The heat taken away is proportional to the velocity of the gas and the density of the gas. In order to maintain a fixed temperature difference between two temperature sensors, the circuit needs to provide more power to the heating element. The power output in the circuit is related to the mass of the fluid, thus measuring the flow rate.

Notes for installation of plug-in thermal gas mass flowmeter:

(1) whether the flowmeter is installed vertically or horizontally, the flowmeter should be kept in a horizontal state.

(2) do not allow accidental stop of gas or accidental stop of gas will cause significant non-exchangeable losses, must be set up bypass.(3) the front of the flowmeter zui should have less than 10D straight pipe segment, rear zui should have less than 5D (D is the pipe diameter) straight pipe segment.

(4) if the instrument installed in the outdoor, should add instrument sunshade, avoid the sun, rain.

(5) Near the flowmeter should confirm that there is no strong magnetic field, strong electric field and strong mechanical vibration.

(6) flowmeter electrostatic grounding should be reliable, but can not be Shared with strong grounding.

(7) The surrounding environment should be confirmed to have no corrosion effect on aluminum alloy.

(8) Ensure that the flow direction of the gas is consistent with the direction of the arrow on the flowmeter.

(9) Welding operations in explosive environments are prohibited. environments with special requirements for welding shall be operated in accordance with the relevant requirements.Do not install the flowmeter at low points in the pipeline, otherwise water and other impurities may accumulate.
