Problems in improving the accuracy of steam measurement of Intelligent Vortex Flowmeter

This paper discusses the problems that should be paid attention to when the intelligent vortex flowmeter is used for steam measurement. The methods of temperature and pressure compensation are discussed. This paper analyzes the measurement error caused by the change of instrument constant caused by the change of temperature and pipe diameter, points out the correction method, and discusses some specific problems in the actual measurement of steam.

The intelligent vortex flowmeter is widely used in steam measurement because of its convenient installation, wide measurement range, high accuracy, good repeatability and easy maintenance. Based on the measurement principle of vortex flowmeter and the unique properties of steam, the following problems should be paid attention to in order to achieve accurate measurement, especially for the meters of trade settlement.

Reasonable selection and installation of flowmeter is the premise of accurate measurement of steam
