The selection of differential pressure flowmeter is directly related to the long-term reliability, stability and accurate measurement of differential pressure flowmeter.

Differential pressure flowmeter is an instrument used to calculate the flow rate according to the differential pressure generated by the flow measurement device installed in the pipeline, known fluid conditions and the geometry size of the device and the pipeline.The differential pressure flowmeter is composed of a primary device (detection piece) and a secondary device (differential pressure transmitter and flow integrator).Differential pressure flowmeters are usually classified in the form of test pieces, such as orifice flowmeter, venturi flowmeter, equal-velocity flowmeter, etc.The secondary devices are differential pressure transmitter, flow integrator and DCS, etc.

Application of differential pressure flowmeter  A wide range of throttling inspection parts are divided into standard type and non-standard type according to their standardization.The so-called standard test pieces refer to the test pieces that are designed, manufactured, installed and used in accordance with the standard documents and can determine the flow value and estimate the flow error without actual flow calibration. The non-standard test pieces are the test pieces with poor maturity that have not been included in the standard documents.

Differential pressure flowmeter is a kind of widely used flowmeter, its dosage occupies the first place in all kinds of flow meters, especially in the throttling differential pressure flowmeter with the standard throttling device as a test piece for popularity, is the first consideration when the flowmeter is selected.In general, the throttling devices included in flow measurement are called standard throttling devices, while other throttling devices and standard throttling devices that do not meet standard operating conditions are called non-standard throttling devices.Standard throttling devices are a very small minority of all throttling devices, currently having only three types: orifice plates, nozzles and venturi tubes, and there are now over 20 types of all throttling devices.Standard throttling device has a long history of development and has accumulated a wealth of technical data, which is the summary document of these technical data.As long as the requirements of the standard are strictly in use, the relationship between the flow rate and the instrument signal can be determined and the measurement error can be estimated without real current calibration.This is the important reason why this type of flowmeter is widely used.
