How to solve the impact of pipeline vibration on the precision of intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter

The factor that affects the precision decline of intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter is multi-dimension. This paper mainly discusses and analyzes the intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter under the premise that the intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter is selected correctly and the fluid is in full pipe state.

1. Intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter is installed near the pump. When the pump starts, it will drive the pipe to vibrate, affecting the electromagnetic flowmeter;

Treatment method:

The installation point of electromagnetic flowmeter should be more than 3 meters away from the pump position;

2. According to the feedback from users, the supporting parts of the electromagnetic flowmeter are relatively thin when installed, and some of them even have only one supporting frame. Therefore, when the pipe section of the vibration stress conduction instrument of the pipeline is installed, the supporting parts will not be able to resist the vibration stress, which will lead to the decrease of the accuracy of the instrument;

Treatment method:

The position of the support should be as far as possible as 15D from the upstream and downstream, and two support stands should be installed in the intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter to withstand enough vibration stress. The diameter of the support stand should be enough to support the weight of the instrument and pipeline, and isolate the vibration.

3. When the intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter has multiple supports and is installed together, if one is affected by vibration, it will inevitably pass to the next support;

Treatment method:

When the support is not easy to install on the vertical pipe, the pipe can be designed horizontally for better installation.

4. Some users have installed a support frame on the vertical pipe, but the support frame is not enough to support the total weight of the pipe and the flow meter, especially the instrument with large pipe diameter, so it has no effect on the resistance of the pipe vibration;

Treatment method:

As far as possible, increase the diameter of the support frame, has reached enough weight to support, also need to pay attention to each support frame do not connect together, must be installed separately;

5. If the support frame is installed at the flange connection of the intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter, it will also generate stress, which will affect the accuracy of the meter;

Treatment method:

The outlet pipeline of the electromagnetic flowmeter should be installed higher than the pipeline of the second supporting frame of the electromagnetic flowmeter. This function is to generate a small back pressure and avoid siphon phenomenon
