Among the faults of precessional vortex gas flowmeter, some are the normal loss of equipment, some are caused by environment and technological process, and some can be avoided.The analysis is described below.

I. The head of the precess vortex flowmeter shows normal temperature and pressure, and no instantaneous flow

1. Too large flow meter selection, resulting in the absence of flow meter display.One is to lower the cutoff frequency of the lower limit of the flow meter (so that the flow meter can be used, but will cause the flow meter accuracy to decrease).The second is to replace the small specifications of the flowmeter.

2. The preamplifier has no current input.The flowmeter has no power supply, and the flowmeter is powered by 24V external power or battery.

3. The preamplifier has no frequency output.Replaceable preamplifier.

4. Main precess vortex flowmeter plate is damaged.Replaceable flow meter motherboard.

In the use of the flow meter, there are faults caused by the absence of medium flow in the pipeline where the flow meter is located or the flow rate is lower than the lower limit value.The reason for this kind of failure is that the gas consumption through the pipeline is too small, which is lower than the lower limit measured by the instrument itself. Therefore, the flow meter shows no flow. At this time, the exhaust valve should be opened to artificially increase the gas volume to observe whether the instrument is working normally.Thus correctly judge the cause of the fault.

In the use of the flow meter, there is water or other debris in the gas channel of the flow meter.Such problems are caused by the presence of water in the measured gas, which affects the normal operation of the flow sensor, or by the presence of impurities in the gas that clog the vortex generator in the gas channel, resulting in the failure of the flowmeter.In case of such problems, the flowmeter should be removed, water accumulation in the channel should be removed, foreign bodies should be checked and blocked, and attention should be paid to such problems in future use.

4. If components are damaged in the fault of the flow meter, such as sensors, preamplifiers, current modules, etc., which belong to the normal loss of the instrument components, the corresponding accessories can be replaced.
