The steam flowmeter should first consider the density of high temperature and superheated steam as a function of its pressure and temperature, not as a proportional relationship.High pressure, and requires good stability, reliability, sealing.

Online density compensation has become a steam meter, breaking the inherent temperature and pressure of saturated steam strictly one-to-one relationship, steam flowmeter is an essential basic function and is widely used.The density value can be calculated accurately according to the superheated steam density table or density calculation formula.

In actual use, temperature and pressure sensors are turned on to measure steam temperature and pressure in real time. The density of saturated steam can be a single function of its temperature or pressure.Real-time density values can be obtained by table lookup or formula calculation (IFC1967 or iapw-1997).

In flow measurement, the steam flowmeter can choose temperature compensation or pressure compensation flowmeter.The integrated temperature and pressure compensation can be realized. There is a strict one-to-one correspondence between the temperature and pressure of saturated steam.The measured steam temperature is detected in real time to obtain the corresponding density value.

When the flowmeter has faults, it is necessary to correctly distinguish whether the display instrument or other secondary instrument has faults. Besides, the steam flowmeter has no moving mechanical parts, so it has high reliability, small maintenance, and long-term stability of instrument parameters.
