How to operate the steam meter

Each flowmeter is a standardized operation technique that follows their own specifications and allows people to know how to operate correctly from their own vantage points.Steam flowmeters are no exception, and steam flowmeter operators are constantly researching tips that can make their work more convenient.

(1) Instrument operation.Standardized operation of steam flowmeter

When the steam flowmeter is in operation, close the positive and negative valves of the differential pressure transmitter at first, open the valve a little, check whether there is leakage in each valve, pressure guide pipe, etc. If there is no leakage, the valve will be fully opened at the first time.Open the drain valve to drain and let the steam out, close the drain valve, and wait for a period of time to let the condenser and the pressure guide tube filled with condensed water before normal operation.

The steps are as follows:

Open the balance valve;

(2) Slowly open the negative pressure valve;

Then open the positive pressure valve;

After a short pause close the positive and negative valves at the same time;The static pressure error of differential pressure transmitter shall be adjusted after the fourth step, and it must be carried out when the liquid level in the condenser is uniformly balanced, otherwise it will bring the static pressure error of liquid column.

Open the positive and negative valves again;

Close the balance valve and start the meter.Note that when filling the positive and negative Chambers of the differential pressure transmitter with liquid, the vent screw on the container should be unscrewed first so that the gas can be discharged before filling.

(2) Operation of the instrument.

In the long run, both the pipe and the throttling device will change, such as scaling, wear, corrosion, etc.The throttle body depends on the shape and size of the structure to maintain the accuracy of the signal. Any change in the size of the geometric shape will bring errors to the measurement.The change of measurement error cannot be detected from the signal, so it is necessary to check the throttle body regularly.Because of the continuous production nature of the enterprise, it is generally carried out in sync with the maintenance.If the geometric size changes little, it can still be used, but the design data should be modified according to the measured data to ensure the accuracy of measurement.

(3) Instrument maintenance.

Due to the instrument in high temperature, high pressure water vapor environment for a long time, it is easy to cause damage, corrosion, impurities blocking, etc., so the need for regular maintenance and regular overhaul.

For example, in the long run of the flowmeter, the graphite bearing is worn and causes the shaft to jump;Do not pay attention to antifreeze, so that the damping water freeze, freeze damaged parts.Orifice flowmeter should especially check whether the round surface of orifice opening is rusted, there is no dirt attached, it should be cleaned regularly, and the seriously rusted orifice should be replaced.In the use of vortex flowmeter sensor, attention should be paid to check whether there is debris obstruction in the slot of triangular column, whether the detection element fails, etc.

In the standard operation, whatever the practice needs, in the practice to master the operation skills, in the skill operation will be more accurate, and the measurement results will be more accurate, all these are obviously very beneficial to our work, so we should standardize the operation and do every step well.
