Anticorrosion measures must be taken whether the electromagnetic flowmeter can measure corrosive media or not.

(1) to avoid the serious and light is to choose a reasonable measurement scheme on the basis of in-depth understanding of the process flow and the characteristics of the relevant media, also to achieve the purpose of measurement or control of the production process, to avoid the corrosive parts, and choose the parts with light corrosion, and even change the type of the parameters to be adjusted.In order to avoid the problem of the corrosion resistance of the flow measuring instrument, the flow constant value regulating system is replaced by the liquid level uniform regulation or other appropriate variable regulation.

General electrode materials are divided into the following types:

1. Stainless steel (0Cr18Ni12Mo2Ti).Suitable for nitric acid, sulfuric acid less than 5% at room temperature, boiling phosphoric acid, formic acid, alkali solution, sulfurous acid, sea water, acetic acid under certain pressure.

2. Hastelloy B, Hastelloy C.Can be used for sea water, salt water.

3. Titanium - suitable for sea water, all kinds of chlorides and subchlorinated hydrochloric acid, oxidizing acid (including fuming nitric acid), organic acid, alkali, etc.

4. Tantalum - In addition to hydrofluoric acid, fuming sulfuric acid, alkali and other chemical media, including hydrochloric acid, nitric acid and < 175℃ sulfuric acid can be used.

5. Platinum - can be used in all kinds of acids, bases, salts, but not aqua regia.

Two, the choice of lining material

Another important material choice of electromagnetic flowmeter is: how to accurately choose the lining material.It must be noted that lining materials should be selected according to the corrosion, wear and temperature of the medium to be measured.

1. Rubber - has excellent elasticity, high tearing force, good wear-resisting function, general corrosion of weak acid and weak alkali, can measure water, sewage, mud and pulp, etc.

2. Polyamine fat - has excellent wear-resisting function, acid resistance, alkali function is poor, can measure the neutral strong wear of coal slurry, mud and pulp.

3. Polytetrafluoroethylene - boiling resistance of hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, aqua regia, concentrated alkali and various organic solvents, good wear-resisting function, poor bonding function
