Fault of waist wheel flowmeter and its solution
Waist wheel flowmeter, also known as roots flowmeter, is used for continuous or intermittent liquid flow in the pipeline measurement of high precision meter.Its structural features are as follows: there is a measuring chamber in the shell of the flowmeter, and there are a pair or two pairs of waist wheels that can rotate tangentially in the measuring chamber. Two waist wheels that are interlocked with each other will have liquid flowing in each turn, and then the volume will be calculated according to the formula.
Although the waist wheel flowmeter has high precision and wide range, it is suitable for small and medium flow range, direct reading type, without external energy and straight pipe section, it is also easy to have inaccurate measurement and instrument damage once it is used improperly.
Failure phenomenon: waist wheel does not turn
Cause: Dirt sticks to the pipe or solidifies the measured liquid
Treatment measures: clean pipes, filters and flow meters;Dissolved liquid
Two, fault phenomenon: waist wheel rotation and the pointer does not move or when go stop
Reason: the watch head fork disjointed, the watch head transmission into dirty;Pointer or counter stuck;The transmission is disjointed
Handling measures: remove the watch head, turn the fork by hand, the instrument turns sensitively, then the watch head and the bearing disjointed;If not, it should be checked step by step or serviced by an after sales person
3. Fault phenomenon: small compensation of device difference and negative deviation of small flow
Reason: the waist wheel collids with the shell, due to bearing wear, or due to the displacement of the fixed drive gear body
Treatment measures: replace bearing, check whether drive gear, wheel body rotation, fixed gear screw loose
4. Phenomenon: The error varies greatly
Reason: The liquid pulsates greatly or contains gas
Treatment measures: reduce pulsation;Add the degasser
