Intelligent temperature and pressure compensation
■Working principle
The intelligent gas waist wheel flow meter is mainly composed of a shell, a conjugate rotor, a counter and an intelligent flow totalizer. A pair of conjugate rotors installed in the measuring chamber are under the action of the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the circulating gas (Pin>Pout), and the rotors are kept in the correct relative position through precision-machined adjustment gears. The best working gap is maintained between the rotor, between the rotor and the shell, and between the rotor and the wall plate, realizing continuous non-contact sealing. Each rotation of the rotor will output four times the effective volume of the metering chamber. The number of rotations of the rotor will be transmitted to the intelligent flow totalizer through the magnetic seal coupling and deceleration mechanism, thereby displaying the cumulative volume of the output gas. The measurement process and working principle are shown in Figure 1 (only a quarter cycle is shown in the figure).
■ The structure of the flow meter
According to the principle of electromagnetic induction, the Wiegand sensor is used to induce a pulse signal proportional to the flow and volume flow from the magnetic steel installed on the synchronously rotating gears. The signal is amplified, filtered, and shaped together with the temperature and pressure sensor signals. Enter the micro-processing unit of the intelligent flow totalizer to perform arithmetic processing, and directly display the volume flow and total volume of the gas on the LCD screen. The mechanism is shown in Figure 2.
